Hard choices: the evening location

We have found choosing the right evening party location hard, very hard. Partly because Berlin has so many great places to offer. And partly because we wanted a bit of an oxymoron: an urban location without neighbours, so that we do not have to worry about noise .... So, in the end, we are celebrating in a Berlin icon that isn't built up: the Grunewald. And our only neighbours will be midnight swimmers at the Teufelsee and the odd fox or two. The Oekowerk is truly idyllic. And there is much to explore for those of you who are bringing your kids! Which is why, when you get off the bus, there will be a bit of time to explore the place and just hang out. Something that you may want to keep in mind when choosing shoes ... . To give you a taste of what awaits you, here are some pictures we took on a recent visit. It will all look even better with all of you there, of course ;-). You can also see what the place looks like when there is a party on here. (The last picture above is the room where the kids will be having their fun ...).

How to get to the (No) Cold Feet Party ...

Click on the image below to enlarge it. And find one of Berlin's (many) hidden gems on the 14th August! We can't wait - and hope that places like the Kiki Blofeld will survive now that we and our neighbours have said NO to the latest investor's dream for Berlin: Mediaspree ...

So, where is your card?

Here is another impression of where our (or rather: Larissa's) card has ended up around the world. This picture was taken in Bedford, UK. Not sure about the significance of the "Men are like floor tiles" slogan in the upper right corner. Daniel just hopes that Kathrin likes floor tiles (though he knows she prefers Dielen). Ah well ... P.S. Do let us know, if you haven't yet, whether you are coming and whether you need a bike for Friday the 15th!
